Saturday August 6th dawns with a mist in the air, warm temps and not a breeze to be felt. WIth highs in the lower 80s and a few passing clouds, this is going to be a great day to be out at The Maples in Manorville, NY for the 5th Annual New York State BBQ Championship! This year the Battle Of The BBQ Brethren is benefiting the Make A Wish Foundation.
Tango Spice was on site last night getting our spot ready for the weekend. It is going to be a great event to be a part of. As the sun set and the cicadas started their symphony the trucks, car & motor homes streamed in, all pulling a well varied array of BBQ equipment.
If you have a chance to head on out to the eastern part of Long Island this weekend, this will be the place to be!
